| 内容記述 | Japanese has three demonstratives: the Ko system, the So system and the A system.Chinese has two: Zhe and Na. This paper considers some cases of how these systemsrelate to each other in conversations. The paper will look at specific occasions andsituations from the viewpoint of the speaker, the distance between the speaker and theobject and other various elements and how they are related. In addition, this paperattempts to analyze whether it is a common understanding that the system useddepends on various factors such as distance to the speaker or listener or whether thereis a listener. There can also be psychological distances involved. This paper will alsolook at the various factors to analyze the conversation and uses the conventions of conversational linguistics to its analysis. | |||||||||||
